A Trini treasure, Cupid!

To introduce Mark Cupidore to the world is to introduce a hidden treasure, hidden away from the world as if to never be discovered. Songwriter, singer, music producer, Mark Cupidore lives on the small island of Trinidad and Tobago; known as CUPID in Sangre Grande. Enter Studio 53 and there you will finally realize why this artist is named CUPID, he will make you fall in love with real music heart felt music all over again. Just one listen to his single “Please Be Mine” and you won’t be able to escape Cupid’s arrow. Penning lyrics since the age of nine, his music is a combination of rapso mixed with reggae and and combined with street chant.

Working with Studio 53 Trinidad’s premiere recording studio, Cupid has preformed with Studio 53 artistes I Sasha, Million Voice. KMC, King David, Lady Meeka, Jah Melody and Bunji Garlin just to name a few; in addition to other Trinidadian artistes Skoobay of the FDP Crew and Blessed Youths, Skinnee Dandalus also of Blessed Youths, Angelo, Jabarie, Quasie, Coconut Mafia, Nikkie aka The Caribbean Man and TJ Banton.

He has preformed all over Trinidad and has been interviewed on radio stations 94.1FM, 96.7FM and 96.1FM to name a few. On Friday September 22, 2006, Cupid made his US début on caribbeanstar.us, an Internet TV program showcasing some of today’s hottest artistes. Providing to his listening audience a wide range of musical flavors from reggae, dancehall, to pop, groovy soca and calypso, you have to ask yourself, “Is the world ready for this hidden treasure?” ‘Inspired by Jah’ as he says, his aim is to bring not only good, but also life changing music to the world; for this CUPID is more than ready! Cupid defies all the odds and now produces some of his hottest tracks and fully displays the talent he has been blessed with. This artiste though unsigned, continues to elevate himself musically; he is truly blessed!
